Our purpose here was to debut a new look for Applebee's. The fonts are friendlier, the attitude is more "real," and the photography is softer and "perfectly imperfect." These inserts are designed to look like a magazine just happens to be laying on a picnic table, evoking a very specific "neighborly" sense of time and place.
